Pyrgi

Pyrgi was the port of Caere, an important Etruscan town, which was linked by an important road of about 13-km. At the emporium of Pyrgi where there was an important sanctuary, dedicated to the goddess Leucotea - Iliza corresponding to the Etruscan Uni.

The recent excavations in the area of the sanctuary have brought to light exhibits of notable importance, like the famous 
gold foils.
